BMX

BMX combines speed, skill and excitement through BMX Racing and BMX Freestyle. Riders develop bike handling, confidence and competitive skills in a dynamic environment that welcomes children, youth and adults of all experience levels.

Track Cycling

Track Cycling takes place on a velodrome and features a variety of sprint and endurance events that test speed, tactics and teamwork. As the foundation of many successful cycling careers, track cycling develops technical skills that benefit riders across multiple disciplines.


In Gauteng, events are hosted at Hector Norris Park.

Mountain Bike

Para Cycling provides competitive and recreational opportunities for athletes with physical disabilities through a range of categories, including handcycles, tandems, tricycles and bicycles. The discipline promotes participation, development and excellence, offering pathways from local competition through to national and international representation.!

 Mountain Bike offers a wide range of off-road disciplines, from Cross-Country Olympic (XCO) and Marathon (XCM) racing to Enduro, Downhill and Gravel. Whether you enjoy technical trails, endurance challenges or recreational riding, Gauteng's trail network provides opportunities for riders of all ages and abilities.

Road Cycling is one of the most popular forms of the sport, encompassing road races, criteriums and individual or team time trials. From weekend riders and club cyclists to elite competitors, Gauteng offers a vibrant calendar of events and a strong network of cycling clubs.
