Cycling is built on community, and clubs are at the heart of that community. Whether you are taking part in your first event, looking for training partners, pursuing competitive goals or simply enjoying recreational riding, joining a club is one of the best ways to become involved in the sport. Gauteng Cycling works closely with clubs across the province to support rider development, participation, mentorship and a lifelong love of cycling.
Gauteng Cycling serves cyclists through its regional districts, creating a strong network that connects riders, clubs, events and opportunities across the province. Together, the districts help coordinate cycling activities, support local clubs, develop talent and promote participation across all cycling disciplines. Whether your passion is Road, Mountain Bike, BMX, Track, Schools or Para Cycling, there is a club and cycling community waiting to welcome you.
Our affiliated clubs provide far more than organised rides and racing opportunities. They create environments where cyclists can learn, develop skills, find support, build friendships and become part of a thriving cycling community. From youth development programmes and recreational group rides to high-performance competition pathways, clubs play a vital role in growing cycling throughout Gauteng.
